I. God Reaches out to a Wicked World

A. The wicked do not follow the Lord and make life difficult for the righteous
B. God reaches out to the wicked thought kindness (v. 10) and then judgments (v.9). He seeks to teach them righteousness.
C. God has reached out to the U.S. with abundant blessing. We have turned from Him and need to return.

II. What Should We Do In Times of Judgment?

A. We should seek the Lord (v. 9). It is time for America to seek the Lord by turning from our sins, praying, following the Bible, fasting, attending church, etc.
B. We should trust the Lord (vv. 3-4). God is in ultimate control and will fulfill His promises. Peace will be extended to us by God as we fix our thoughts on Him and trust in Him.

III. An Invitation for Unbelievers to Trust in God

A. If you are not a Christian, you need to trust in Christ. He died on the cross for your sins and will forgive your sins as you trust in Him.
B. This is the greatest opportunity that you will ever have. Don't miss out.
